Connecting to the Divine Feminine.

The essence of the Divine Feminine is the embodiment of creativity and infinite loving-kindness extended to all beings. It is pure love. The unification of the feminine with the masculine is the ultimate power of creation, and the feminine holds the space for this union to occur. There is power in passivity, sensitivity, sensuality, and grace. There is a time for the expansive engagement of the world through the masculine energies, as well as slower, gentler times of retreating and turning inward. I invite you to dwell deeply in the realm of the conscious, open heart, and see what desires lie dormant there. Shine the light of consciousness on your desires and allow them to blossom into manifestation. The mind exists to bring these heart-felt desires into form through action.

Connect to the Goddess energy within that beckons you to hear the sweet, still voice of the heart. It does not speak in words or logical thoughts, but in gentle impressions, emotions, and feelings of knowing. You don’t know why, but you just know. Listen to the voice of the heart as it speaks through dreams, desires, and expansive feelings. Play in nature, sing, dance, and do whatever it is that makes you lose track of time, that allows you to fully embody your joy.

Mermaid Metamorphosis.

The months of 2013 have been filled with love, friendship, creativity, art, and compassion. I have been devoted to my daily yoga practice, which has opened up my body and heart. Each pose is slowly becoming stronger and more flexible. My amazing, talented friends and boyfriend inspire me each day. I feel emotionally, physically, and spiritually fulfilled because I am listening to my body and authentically expressing myself with others. My connections with friends are sweet, heartfelt, gentle, loving, and fun. I adore dancing with my friends to great music, hooping, enjoying ourselves. I love smiling, laughing, and playing with my boyfriend. He is absolutely amazing, unconditionally supportive, and loving.

Lately I have been honing my healing, intuitive, and psychic capabilities. I have been trying my best to honor myself and help everybody around me. My life is better when I give selflessly and share my love with others, including my love of yoga, hoop dance, and healing. I am also exploring my creative abilities connected to writing, photography, graphic design, art, and dance. Self-education and spiritual growth are my goals now, as well as cultivating my love-filled relationships. I see the people around me and closest to me as my greatest teachers. I learn something new from each person and every experience. Expressing gratitude for the love in my life allows me to remain in a high vibration.

During the past few months, I realized that my purpose in life is to generate as much love and light as possible by holding space, being the container for love. Life is a creation, a unique expression of the universal consciousness, one love. At this time, the earth needs goddesses to ground the energy of the Divine Feminine. The world is largely ruled by the masculine energies, such as in our work, education, and governmental organizations. These days, more and more people are awakening to the notion that both masculine and feminine energies exist in all things and in all ways of being. The purpose is to achieve balance, harmony, and flowing energy between the two. I invite others to explore the essence of the Divine Feminine in ways that speak to them, like yoga, hooping, and connecting to nature. My embodiment of the mermaid energy is a way to ground the essence of the Divine Feminine and awaken that energy in the goddesses around me.

The study of tantra and sexual energy is another component to the balance of feminine and masculine. Embodying the grace of the Divine Feminine is to dissolve all boundaries between you and another, like fulling accepting your lover for their true essence. When I connect to my lover, I am sweet, gentle, and flowing like water. I dissolve into him and fill him up with love. In him arms, I breathe deeply into him and feel his breath flow into mine. I am beyond happy to have him in my life and love him unconditionally. Our love for each other overflows into our friendships and inspires others to share their light.

Waves in the Ocean.

mermaid3This morning I experienced a transformative and expansive yoga practice that was guided by the vibration of the divine feminine. My teacher presented a beautiful metaphor that involves the cyclical nature of ocean waves and the power of goddess energy. Kali, Saraswati, and Lakshmi represent growth as it arises, much like the flowing and ebbing of ocean waves. The goddess Kali is the primal fiery force of nature that seeks to create. It is the undefined energy of creativity that wants to powerfully bring energy into form. The power of Kali can be understood as the swirling and flowing of the water underneath the waves, that which pulls up the sand and brings the unconscious into our conscious awareness. It is our need to create from the darkness and bring that to the light.

The wave begins to take form, which can be likened to the energy of Saraswati, who represents the flow of wisdom and consciousness. It is not until we define what we want to create that we can ground that energy in the world of manifestation. Saraswati, then, is the energy of creation that knows what it wants to create because consciousness has been illuminated with wisdom. The peak of the wave is where we bring our creative awareness to full fruition, when we have churned up the darkness of the unconscious, given it form, and then defined and refined it to its fullest and most beautiful expression.

Lakshmi represents the crest of wave, as she is the goddess of abundance who embodies perfect beauty, grace, and love. She rises from the muddy waters of the unconcious, untamed mind in order to embrace the desires of the heart and bring them to their fullest expression in the physical reality. This is the process of listening to deepest desires of the heart to create, to transform and transmute energy in order to express itself. It is not about denying our feelings, but instead, to enter the space of deep awareness in order to truly know what we want to create.

Using this beautiful metaphor, imagine yourself becoming a wave, first as it swirls along the ocean floor, then rises up to form the beginning of the waves and its peak, finally letting it all go to crash into the water. The cycle repeats itself, and the flow of water embodies the same energy that flows through all existence. In this manner, you can get in touch with that which you want to create and manifest. It begins as the primal energy of consciousness, but it is not until we shine the light of awareness on our desires that we can begin to bring them into form.
